Een delegatie van verschillende mensenrechten organisaties uit Aceh, de Molukken en Jakarta stellen op dit moment bij de VN Mensenrechten Commissie in Geneve de schrijnende mensenrechten situatie in Indonesie aan de orde.

In de tweede en derde week van April zullen zij op uitnodiging van Stichting Akui en Infohd van het Indonesia House ism. Stichting Titaney in Nederland zijn.

Op de publieke bijeenkomst op 20 April a.s. zullen zij i.h.b. ingaan op het verband tussen de humanitaire crisis in Aceh, de Molukken en Kalimantan, en de huidige strijd tegen straffeloosheid in Indonesie.

En wat kan de solidariteitsbeweging ondernemen om de strijd tegen het geweld en straffeloosheid in Indonesie te ondersteunen?

Human Rights and humanitarian organisation from Maluku, Aceh and Jakarta have been reporting evidences of gross violation of human rights and Humanitarian Crisis in Indonesia to the 57th Session of UN Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.

In the third week of April they are invited by INFOHD and AKUI Foundation from Indonesia House, in co-operation with Titane Foundation, to the Netherlands.

In the public meeting on April 20, 2001 they will present their analysis about the relations between humanitarian crisis in Aceh, Maluku and Kalimantan with the struggle to end impunity in Indonesia. They will also present their view on what can International community and solidarity movement do to stop the politics of violence and support the struggle to end impunity in Indonesia.
